![]() EIS ScopingThe EIS scoping comment period commenced on June 18th, 2010 and concluded on August 2nd, 2010. Comments received or postmarked after that date will be considered to the extent practicable.Public MeetingsWhen publishing its Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS on June 18th, 2010, the DOE opened a 45-day scoping period during which the public was invited to participate in the identification of potential environmental impacts that may result from the project. The DOE conducted seven scoping meetings along the route.
